Smooth Cat Eye LED/UV GEL Polish
flexible/ perfect coverage/ easy to spread / fast curing time
A high quality LED/UV light-curing lacquer gel with a magnetic property that allows you to create a shimmering, light-transmitting effect similar to cat's eye iridescence using Profinails magnetic pens. Depending on which part of the 4-sided magnetic pen is held over the nail at a distance of 3-5 mm, different pattern variations can be created.
Curing time:
• LED lamp: 0,5-1 minute (depending on the lamp’s performance)
• UV lamp: 2-3 minutes (depending on the lamp’s performance)
How to use:
Pearlescent effect on its own:
On the prepared nail covered with Rubber Base or Base&Top, apply the first coat of Smooth Cat Eye polish and cure. Then apply the second coat of Smooth Cat Eye polish and before using the UV LED lamp to cure, create the desired cat eye effect using a magnetic pen and then cure again. To finish, apply the no-wipe Easy Top and use the UV LED lamp again for the perfect shine. Base&Top can also be used instead of Easy Top, but it must be wiped after curing time.
Without pearlescent effect on its own:
On prepared nails covered with Rubber Base or Base&Top, apply the first coat of Smooth Cat Eye polish, then use the magnetic pen to create the cat eye pattern and use the UV LED lamp to cure. Then apply the second coat and before curing, repeat the cat eye effect created in the first coat with the magnetic pen and then cure again. To finish, apply the no-wipe Easy Top, and cure for the perfect shine. Base&Top can also be used instead of Easy Top, but it must be wiped after curing.
Combined with another colour:
The Smooth Cat Eye polish can be used to top up any darker shade of coloured gel and gel polish. You need a base colour with perfect coverage, preferably in a darker shade. On the prepared nail covered with Rubber Base or Base&Top, apply 1 coat of the chosen dark base colour and cure. Next, apply Smooth Cat Eye, then use the magnetic pen to create the desired cat eye effect before curing, then use the UV LED lamp. Finish with the no-wipe Easy Top, and cure for the perfect shine. Base&Top can also be used instead of Easy Top, but it must be wiped after curing.
Smooth Cat Eye polish can be applied directly to gel or lacquer gel (which sets to a sticky consistency, e.g. coloured gel, 3-stage lacquer gel) that requires wiping. In the case of a glossy binding product (e.g. ONESTEP lacquer gel), the color must first be lightly matted with this 400 buffer and then Smooth Cat Eye lacquer gel can be applied.
